2010 National Amateur Championship Results

The 2010 NVA National Championship and Derby Classic drew a near record - over 30 dogs in each stake. The Amateur Championship concluded mid-Wednesday with the following results:

Event Information

  • Drawing: Sunday March 14 at the Clubhouse
  • National Amateur Chamionship: Monday March 15
  • National Derby Classic: Follows NACh
  • National Open Championship: Follows Derby Classic

Please note that the NVA National Amateur Championship will commence immediately upon the conclusion of the Missouri Open Shooting Dog Championship but no sooner than 8:00 AM Monday March 15th. It currently looks as if they will conclude shortly after lunch on Monday if they have no weather delays. The Derby and National Championship will follow the Amateur in the same order as originally scheduled. Entries will still close at 6:30 PM on Sunday March 14th at the Clubhouse and the drawing for braces will begin at 7:00 PM.

The American Field now requires all dogs winning a championship placement—winner or runner-up—have a DNA certificate on file with the FDSB. The American Field does accept AKC DNA certificates.
